We currently do not have any staff openings at this time.

Dedicated volunteers have been essential in building Marshall Direct Fund and furthering our mission. We have an annual internship position that is currently filled that requires assistance with various administrative and project related activities. If you are interested in helping us in the future we would be happy to keep your name and info on file. We also have one time or occasional project related volunteer activities and events that we could use your assistance with. Contact us to learn how you can get involved today!

Thank you to our current and past volunteers and interns:

Kate Lapides has been instrumental in helping us with our marketing materials. She is a freelance photographer and writer and has had several positions with newspapers in the San Francisco Bay Area. You can read more about her here.
Annie Hines interned with us during the summer of 2012. She is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and International Relations at Colgate University and enjoyed connecting her classroom experience to MDF’s efforts in Pakistan.
John McMahon did an academic internship with us from Nov 2009 to May 2010 assisting with various projects and assignments. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies at the City University of New York Graduate Center, and teaches Political Science at Hunter College.
Diane Metzger is a current program intern with MDF and has been contributing to the areas of administration, fundraising and marketing since April 2015. She graduated in June 2015 with a M.A. from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Through the MDF internship, her goal is to expand her skills in nonprofit management and further build a career in international development.
Leah Spelman works in international development doing research, program management, and grantwriting. Most recently she was in Jordan for a year and a half, looking at the impact of foreign aid on women’s political participation. She helps MDF with business development. She hopes to go to grad school next year to earn her MPA in International Development.
